EAST CHATHAM—Karen S. Cramer-Christiansen, 50, of Gale Hill Road, East Chatham, passed away Monday, January 3, 2011 at her home.
Born in Albany, May 29, 1960, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Bernice (Platner) Cramer.
Ms. Cramer-Christiansen was a supervisor at the Office of Mental Health in Albany and attended the Niverville Methodist Church.
She loved stock car racing at Lebanon Valley; and enjoyed her computer, bowling, traveling and especially spending time with her family.
She is survived by her husband, Donald R. Christiansen of East Chatham; six brothers and sisters, Albert Cramer of Rensselaer, Lois Cramer of Nassau, James Cramer (Judy) of Schodack, William Cramer (Kathy) of Hudson, Michael Cramer (Sharon) of Schodack, Lorrie Tatar (Fred) of Nassau; and several nieces and nephews.
She also leaves behind her two cats, Lucy and Ricky.
Friends may call Friday, January 7 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Raymond E. Bond Funeral Home, lnc., Route 9, Valatie. Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 8, 9 a.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Stark Jones officiating. Interment will follow in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Valatie.
