GHENT—Thomas W. Wadman, 73, of Copake died Tuesday, December 7, 2010 at the Whittier Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Center.
He was born November 30, 1937 in Taghkanic, the son of George V. and Clara (Funk) Wadman.
Mr. Wadman was a veteran, who served with the U.S. Air Force.
He retired in 1999 as the head of the maintenance department at the Pine Haven Home in Philmont. Previously, he was employed by Charter Supply also in Philmont.
Mr. Wadman was an outdoorsman and also enjoyed playing video games with his family.
In West Copake, March 20, 1982, he married Paula D. (Hornung) Wadman, who survives him at home.
Surviving besides his wife, is his daughter, Carla Wadman of Copake; his son and daughter-in-law, William and Jennifer Wadman of King’s Bay, GA; a granddaughter, Makayla Wadman; two children from a previous marriage; a sister, Clare Mossman of Hudson; along with nieces and nephews.
His funeral will be held Monday, December 13, 11 a.m. at the Peck & Peck Funeral Home, 8063 State Route 22, Copake.
Interment will follow in the West Copake Cemetery.
