GHENT—Minnie E. Nooney, 86, of Claverack, passed away Tuesday, November 16, 2010 at the Whittier Rehab and Skilled Nursing Center.
Born January 30, 1924 in Hudson, she was the daughter of the late William H. and Emma (Ford) Teator.
Mrs. Nooney was employed as a nurse’s aide at the Firemen’s Home in Hudson until her retirement.
She taught Bible School for 30 years.
Surviving are two sons, Kirk Witko and Steven Witko, both of Claverack; her daughter-in-law, Anna Witko of Claverack; a step-son, Robert Nooney of Texas; her sister, Doris Wolff of Endwell; 10 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, and a special friend, Gwen Ingraham.
She was predeceased by her husbands, Stanley Witko and Albertus Nooney, a step-daughter, Judith Concra, and a half-sister, Madeline Diehl.
Services were held Friday, November 19 at the Bates & Anderson—Redmond & Keeler Funeral Home, 110 Green Street, Hudson.
Burial was in Cedar Park Cemetery.
