VALATIE—Frank C. Moses, 71, of McCagg Road, Valatie, died Thursday, October 28, 2010 at his home.

Born in Valatie, October 1, 1939, he was the son of the late George S. and Helen (McCagg) Moses.

He was an engineer for General Electric in Schenectady, installing and maintaining heavy duty gas turbines. He was a former member of the Ghent Band, Winding Brook Country Club and Christ Lutheran Church in Ghent. He was an avid Civil War aficionado and a collector of New Orleans jazz.

He is survived by his wife, Eleanor (Craft) Moses of Valatie; two daughters, Deborah J. Moses of Hudson and Cheryl A. Moses of Jordan; a brother-in-law, Henry J. Craft of Valatie; a sister-in-law, Dolores Craft of Wisconsin; one nephew and several cousins.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, November 6, 6 p.m., at the Raymond E. Bond Funeral Home, Inc., Route 9, Valatie, with the Rev. James Slater officiating. A reception will be held at Kozel’s Restaurant following the memorial service.

Interment will be at the convenience of the family. There will be no calling hours.
