ALBANY—Harriet L. Kinnicutt, 87, of Valatie and formerly of Albany, went to be with the Lord Tuesday, September 14, 2010 at St. Peter’s Hospital.
Born in Valatie September 6, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Chauncey and Bertha (Fischer) Kinnicutt.
Mrs. Kinnicutt was a homemaker and worked at the Rainbow’s End Restaurant in Valatie for a time. She also cared for many elderly people and youngsters in the area and was a former member of the First Presbyterian Church in Valatie.
She is survived by her sister, Shirley Williams of Kinderhook; an aunt, Mary Shanahan of Troy, and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by a sister, Edna Kowalski and a foster brother, Wayne Pulver.
Funeral services will be Saturday, September 18, 11 a.m. from the Raymond E. Bond Funeral Home, Inc., Route 9, Valatie, with the Rev. Kathi Jones officiating. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Valatie. Friends may call Saturday from 9 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Contributions may be made to either the First Presbyterian Church in Valatie, the Epilepsy Foundation or the Valatie Rescue Squad.
