KINDERHOOK—Marie H. Van Pelt, 94, a lifelong resident of Chatham Street, Kinderhook, died Thursday, September 9, 2010 at her home.
Born in Kinderhook, April 13, 1916, she was the daughter of the late John and Mary (Trimper) Hickey.

 

Mrs. Van Pelt was a receptionist for Berkshire Telephone in Kinderhook for 44 years.
She is survived by her nephew Donald Berlin and his family as well as many other nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Merwin Van Pelt.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 14, 11 a.m. from St. John the Baptist Church, Valatie, where Rev. John Molyn will celebrate a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will be in St. John’s Cemetery. There will be no calling hours. Arrangements are with the Raymond E. Bond Funeral Home, Inc. Valatie.
