Arlene Decker, 84, lifelong Philmont resident, active church member

HUDSON—Arlene L. Decker, 84, of Philmont, passed away Friday, August 13, 2010 at Community Hospice at Columbia Memorial Hospital.

Born January 13, 1926 in Philmont, she was the daughter of the late Milo and Sara (Fowler) Decker.

 

Ms. Decker was employed in the office at the Royal Northup Insurance Agency in Philmont.

A lifelong resident of Philmont, she was an active member of the Second Reformed Church of Claverack in Philmont, and the senior citizens group.

Ms. Decker was the beloved aunt of Paul Decker of Philmont and David Decker of Burnt Hills, and their families. She is also survived by several cousins.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Donald Decker.

Calling hours are 9:30 to 11 a.m. Tuesday, August 17 at the Bates & Anderson—Redmond & Keeler Funeral Home.

Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m. at the funeral home.

Burial will be in the Mellenville Union Cemetery.
