HUDSON—Paul D. Storti, 60, of County Route 7, Copake, died Wednesday July 28, 2010 at Community Hospice at Columbia Memorial Hospital.
He was born May 19, 1950 in Great Barrington, MA the son of the late Ernest and Mary (Graham) Storti. A lifelong local resident, Mr. Storti was a graduate of Roeliff Jansen High School in the class of 1969.
Prior to his illness he was employed as a heavy equipment operator doing road construction for A. Colarusso & Sons of Hudson.
An outdoorsman who enjoyed both hunting and fishing, Mr. Storti was a past president and lifetime member of the Craryville Rod and Gun Club. He also was a devoted fan of NASCAR and his favorite driver Jeff Gordon.
He is survived by his companion Mary Jane Graham and her daughter Miranda, both of Copake. He also leaves his sister, Ellen Louise Palmer of Lakeville, CT along with her family.
A celebration of Mr. Storti’s life will be held at a date to be announced.
