HUDSON—Paul C. “Bo” Miller of Hudson, a lifelong resident of Columbia County, died Thursday July 29, 2010 at Columbia Memorial Hospital. He was 84.
Born in Stottville September 7, 1925, he was the son of the late John and Augusta (Pazera) Miller.
Mr. Miller graduated from Hudson High School in 1942 and served in the U.S. Navy from 1943 to 1945 as a radio petty officer in the 7th Fleet Mobile Communications Unit #13. He participated in the landings in the South Pacific and the Philippines. On October 7, 1950 he married Anne Day. He was elected to the Columbia County Basketball Hall of Fame. Mr. Miller was employed at V & O Press for over 35 years as industrial relations and office manager.
In addition to his wife Anne, he is survived by son and daughter-in-law Daniel and Ellen Miller of Hudson, and daughter Nancy of Rhode Island. He was pre-deceased by a brother John Miller.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered Saturday, July 31, 10 a.m. at the Church of St. Joseph (Holy Family Church) in Stottville with Fr. Frank O’Connor officiating. Burial with Navy Honors will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Stuyvesant Falls. There are no calling hours.
