HUDSON—Linda K. Mackey, 50, of Hudson, died Wednesday, July 14, 2010 at Columbia Memorial Hospital.
Born March 4, 1960 in Scotland Neck, N.C., she was the daughter of the late William H. and Melvina (Davis) Mackey. Ms. Mackey worked in the clerical department for the NY State Department of Health in Albany.
She was a member of the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church in Albany.
Surviving are her son, Curtis Mackey of Hudson; her grandson, Curtis, Jr.; six sisters, Penny Dempsey, Alice Hedgepeth, Pansy Mackey and Daisy Mackey, all of Hudson, and Carolyn (Jesse) Temple and Dixie Myrick, both of Albany; seven brothers, Howard, William, and Wallace Mackey, all of Hudson, and Barry, Mark, James, and Joseph Myrick, all of Albany; her companion, Patrick Brown, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by two sisters, Dixie Myrick and Elsie Mackey, and two brothers, Larry and Eddie Mackey.
Burial was in Cedar Park Cemetery.
Arrangements were with the Bates & Anderson—Redmond & Keeler Funeral Home.
