SYRACUSE—David Mitchell Royal, 50, of Syracuse, passed away Tuesday, July 6, 2010 at Crouse Hospital.
Born October 4, 1959 in Hudson, he was the beloved son of Bessie Royal of Hudson and the late Thomas Royal, Sr. David was employed by SUNY ESF in the physical plant and had formerly worked for Gordon Electronics for 15 years.
He enjoyed golfing, fishing and grilling. He was a SU basketball fan and enjoyed watching his son, Mitchell, play lacrosse for the Nottingham Bulldogs. He also enjoyed taking frequent trips to Webster Pond with his children.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his devoted wife of 25 years, Therese M. (Minnoe) Royal; his beloved children, Mitchell David Royal, Jacinta Rose Royal and Leah Beth Royal, all of Syracuse; his loving siblings, Thomas, Jr. of Hudson, Nathan of Atlanta, GA, Tracy Royal of Queens, and Leeanna Fulton and Corey Ivery, both of Hudson; several nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. 
Besides his father, he was predeceased by a brother, Rodney Ivery, his godfather, Steve Ivery, and his godmother, Lois Bell.
Burial was in Cedar Park Cemetery in Hudson.
Arrangements were with the Bates & Anderson—Redmond & Keeler Funeral Home, 110 Green Street, Hudson 12534.
