PITTSFIELD, MA—Brian Patrick “Webby” Webster, 17, of Robin Road, Kinderhook died Monday, July 5, 2010 at the Berkshire Medical Center as the result of a drowning accident in Queechy Lake, Canaan.
Brian is and will always be the light of his mother’s life. Born June 27, 1993, in Albany, he was about to enter his senior year at Ichabod Crane High School. He was also enrolled in the mechanical technology program at Questar in Greenport.
He was a funny, smart, fun, loving boy, who was taken from us too soon. His future will never be realized, except by the plan of God.
Brian is survived by his mother Theresa C. (Ether) Hoffman, his stepfather Donald E. Hoffman Jr, his brother Nicholas D. Ether, his stepsister Heather D. Hoffman, his father Robert P. Webster Jr, grandparents Joseph and Patricia Ether, grandmother Sandra Reynolds and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Brian was predeceased by his grandfather Robert P. Webster Sr. “Poppie”, great aunt Alice Ether and second cousin Matthew Lentz. May they guide, watch over and keep Brian safe. You will be loved and missed every day my beautiful boy.
Calling hours will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, July 9 at the Raymond E. Bond Funeral Home, Route 9, Valatie. Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 10, 11 a.m. at funeral home, with a service conducted by the Reverend Dr. Nancy McClure-Long. Interment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Stuyvesant Falls.
Family and friends are welcomed to our home after the cemetery service to remember and celebrate Brian’s life.
Donations in Brian’s name may be made to your local fire department, rescue squad or to the New York State Police. Our family would like to thank you all for your heroic efforts to recover my son from the lake and trying to bring him back to us. God bless you.
