Betty J. Doty (1946 – 2025)
HUDSON—Betty Jane Doty of Hudson passed away peacefully February 7, 2025 at the age of 78. She was born March 27, 1946 in Stephentown, to Harvey Roberts and Gladys Jones.
She attended Ichabod Crane Central School. She dedicated many years of service working as an associate for Taconic Plastics and Golden Harvest.
She had a love for life and enjoyed spending time outdoors. She found joy in camping, boating, gardening and her love of flowers. Above all, she had a special fondness for dogs, always surrounding herself with furry companions.
She is survived by: her loving children, Michael Fix of Hudson, Robert (Cammie) Fix of Niverville and her daughter, Patricia. She will be deeply missed by her partner, Leonard Johnson of Schodack, and her siblings, George Roberts of Berlin and her sister, Dawn, also of Berlin. She was blessed with many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her brother, Harvey Roberts and her sister, Sue. Arrangements are with the Raymond E. Bond Funeral Home, Valatie.
