Gary Charles Baker

HUDSON—Gary Charles Baker, 72, of Philmont died peacefully Saturday, February 8, 2025 at Columbia Memorial Hospital following a long illness.

Born in Hudson, October 23, 1952, he was the son of the late Walter Sr. and Shirley (Snyder) Baker. After high school he served honorably in the military from 1973 to 1974. He was a local maintenance and handyman for many years until his retirement.

He will be greatly missed by his loving family including: daughters, Melissa Caron and her fiance Andrew, Heather (Christopher) Morehouse and Dawn Baker; his son, Ryan Edwards; brothers, Walter Baker, Jr., and Michael Baker as well as many grandchildren.

A memorial service will be planned and announced at a later date. Arrangements were with the Sacco Funeral Home, Greenport.
