Alyssa Moore’s first grade classroom at Hudson’s Montgomery C. Smith Elementary School was ready for students last week with new safety guidelines. The Hudson City School District opened to some grades on September 14 after closing the buildings in March due to the pandemic. According to the district’s reopening plans, pre-kindergartners, kindergartners, 6th graders, and 9th graders started last week. More grades began to attend in-person classes this week.
