Now for the next step

Taconic Hills High School graduation was conducted on the AstroTurf of the football field Friday evening, June 24. Eighty-four students received their diplomas. In addition to class president, salutatorian and valedictorian speeches, the special guest speaker was Kimberly Antal, a student favorite high school science teacher. Remarks were also made by Principal James Buhrmaster, who is moving on to another job in the fall. The ceremony concluded with caps being thrown in the air as well as confetti and colored smoke from the graduates. For photos from other school districts turn to Page 24. Photo by David Lee
