GERMANTOWN—The Germantown Town Board, in conjunction with the town’s Economic Development Advisory Committee (GEDAC) with the assistance of the Columbia Economic Development Corporation, announces that Germantown business owners can now apply to receive support from the Germantown Business Recovery Fund.

This fund provides eligible Germantown businesses with financial grants to help them get through this trying time. Applications are due by May 1 at 4 p.m. Use the link below to access information about the fund and the application:

Eligibility for this fund is different from the eligibility for the county-wide fund, and was designed to be more inclusive of the diversity of Germantown’s businesses. Those not eligible for the county-wide fund, have a good chance of being eligible to apply for the Germantown Business Recovery Fund. The application is simple and should not take more than 15 minutes to complete.

The application is available to submit immediately. Share news of this opportunity with any business owners who may not be on the town’s mailing list. This opportunity will be posted on social media but the town doesn’t want anyone to miss out on this opportunity just because they didn’t hear about it in time.

Anyone with questions about the fund or who needs assistance filling out the application, contact GEDAC Chair Philippa Biddle at philippa.biddle@gmail.com.
