GERMANTOWN—Save the date for the airing of School Garden on Nancy Fuller Ginsberg’s Food Network show, “Farmhouse Rules.”
School Garden airs Sunday, September 21 at 12:30 p.m. and Monday, September 22 at 5:30 p.m. In the episode Ms. Fuller Ginsberg’s daughter Lorinda, a school principal, is in town to help the Germantown Central School start a garden, as Lorinda did in North Carolina.
Once the garden is up and running, Ms. Fuller Ginsberg invites some of the students to dinner at her farm, where the menu features ingredients that they grew. They dine on pasta primavera with handmade linguini, corn on the cob, garden vegetables, salad, and for dessert, s’mores.
“Farmhouse Rules,” which airs weekly, is described on the Food Network website as “a lifestyle and cooking show centered on Nancy Fuller’s kitchen and the Hudson Valley farming community that supplies it.”
Ms. Fuller Ginsberg is a mother of five and grandmother to 13, and she is co-owner with her husband, David Ginsberg, of Ginsberg’s Foods, a multi-million dollar business based in Claverack, where the Ginsbergs live.
