EAST DURHAM — A Greene County man has been arrested and charged with sexually abusing a child younger than 11 years old, according to state police.
Kenneth Ball, 25, of East Durham, was arrested June 9 by state police in the Catskill Bureau of Criminal Investigation.
State police worked with Greene County Child Protective Services on an investigation into an allegation that an adult male was engaging in sexual conduct with a child less than 11 years old, according to state police.
Ball was arrested and charged with first-degree criminal sex act, first-degree sexual abuse, and endangering the welfare of a child, state police said.
Ball was remanded to Greene County Jail and is expected to be arraigned in Greene County Court on June 12.
“Anyone who feels they may have been a victim of Kenneth Ball or knows someone who may have been a victim [is] asked to call the State Police at Catskill at 518-622-8600,” state police said.
