Ancram firefighter Tim Slater was seriously hurt in an accident while working on a car recently, and he will be hospitalized indefinitely. To help Mr. Slater and his family, the fire company will host a benefit spaghetti dinner from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the firehouse.
Tickets are $10 per person. All proceeds will go the Tim Slater Fund.
Those who cannot attend the benefit dinner but would like to contribute to the Tim Slater Fund, should send a check to: AFC Tim Slater Fund, Ancram Fire Company, P.O. Box 8, Ancram 12502.
The Slater family and Ancram’s firefighters thank everyone in advance for their support, Ancram Fire Chief David Boice said in a press release.
