Missing man may have been in Hudson

HUDSON—Poughkeepsie City Police are investigating a missing person report for a 51-year-old Poughkeepsie man who has not been seen since Thursday, August 1.

Eden T. Decker is described as a white man, 5’11,” 300 pounds with brown eyes, brown hair and a graying beard. He wears glasses. He left his residence on his motorcycle to go to a concert in the northern part of the state and has not been seen since, nor is he answering his cell phone.

His motorcycle is a black 2002 Kawasaki bearing a gold New York State plate number 35RV18. His family and employer are extremely concerned as this is highly unusual behavior for him.

An investigation indicates that Mr. Decker was possibly in the area of the Town of Bethlehem and Route 32 early the morning of Saturday, August 3 and he may have been at Club Helsinki in the City of Hudson on the evening of Friday, August 2.
