KINDERHOOK – The village will hold elections on March 20 from noon to 9 p.m. at the village hall on Route 9.
Mayor Carol Weaver is running unopposed for her seat and Judy David Dellehunt is also up for reelection without an opponent.
There is a three-person race for trustee. Rich Phillips and Bran Murphy, the incumbent trustees, are running for reelection against Sue Chiafullo. The highest vote-getters will win the two open seats.
Mr. Phillips has served a fire commissioner and liaison to the Town Board in his time on the board. He served as mayor from 1996-2002 and has been a trustee for several years.
Mr. Murphy is liaison to the Recreation Commission and liaison for the Economic Development Committee. This is his first term as trustee.
Ms. Chiafullo is on Economic Development Committee for the village and reports to the board for the committee monthly.
