WEST SAND LAKE — A Bethlehem woman is charged with stealing money from an elderly person at a senior living facility where the woman works.
Deborah Miller, 42, of Bethlehem, was arrested Oct. 17 after state police received a complaint Sept. 2 that money was stolen from a resident at Ludder’s Country Homes, a senior living facility in West Sand Lake.
“The investigation determined Miller, who worked at the facility as a health care aide, was responsible for the theft,” according to a statement from state police.
Miller surrendered herself to state police at the Sand Lake barracks and was charged with petty larceny.
She was issued an appearance ticket and is expected to appear in Sand Lake Town Court on Nov. 7.
State police are asking anyone with additional information about the case or who believes they may have been a victim to call state police at 518-783-7000.
