STATE POLICE
- Joseph Polach, 43, of Earlton, was arrested Aug. 1 at 8:35 p.m. and charged with criminal mischief with intent to damage property, a class A misdemeanor. Plach was released on his own recognizance.
- Niara Banks, 32, of Troy, was arrested Aug. 3 at 11:25 a.m. in Coxsackie and charged with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a class B felony; first-degree knowingly introducing dangerous contraband into a prison, a class D felony; and second-degree introducing contraband into a prison, a class A misdemeanor. Banks was transported to central arraignment.
- Kenneth Lowry, 59, of Rensselaer, was arrested Aug. 3 at 9:37 p.m. in Cairo and charged with second-degree robbery causing physical injury, a class C felony, and criminal obstruction of breathing or blood circulation, a class A misdemeanor. Lowry was held with no bail.
- Melinda Crandall, 49, of Rensselaer, was arrested Aug. 3 at 9:36 p.m. in Cairo and charged with second-degree robbery, a class C felony. Crandall was released on her own recognizance.
- Skyler Fichtner, 28, of West Kill, was arrested Aug. 4 at 1:23 a.m. in Lexington and charged with driving while intoxicated and operating a motor vehicle with a blood-alcohol content over 0.08%, both unclassified misdemeanors. Fichtner was issued an appearance ticket.
- Destiney Poole, 25, of Schenectady, was arrested Aug. 4 at 9:30 a.m. in Coxsackie and charged with second-degree introducing contraband into a prison, a class A misdemeanor. Poole was issued an appearance ticket.
- John Alston, 31, of Schenectady, was arrested Aug. 4 at 11:40 a.m. in Coxsackie and charged with second-degree introducing contraband into a prison, a class A misdemeanor. Alston was issued an appearance ticket.
- Jesus Valles, 40, of Akron, Ohio, was arrested Aug. 6 at 2:04 a.m. and charged with first-degree assault with intent to disfigure, dismember or disable, a class B felony; first-degree strangulation, a class C felony; third-degree criminal possession of a weapon, a class D felony; and acting in a manner injurious to a child less than 17 and criminal mischief/disabling equipment to prevent an emergency call, both class A misdemeanors. Valles was issued cash bail in the amount of $100,000.
- Sean Stewart, 33, of Newburgh, was arrested Aug. 7 at 12:19 a.m. in New Baltimore and charged with fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a class D felony, and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and second-degree criminal use of drug paraphernalia, both class A misdemeanors. Stewart was held with no bail.
- Ricky Edward David, 54, of Greenville, was arrested Aug. 7 at 3:45 p.m. in Greenville and charged with second-degree obstruction of governmental administration and resisting arrest, both class A misdemeanors, and third-degree menacing, a class B misdemeanor. David was issued an appearance ticket.
- Raymond Hillje, 51, of Catskill, was arrested Aug. 9 at 12:55 a.m. in Catskill and charged with third-degree criminal possession of a weapon, a class D felony; aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, a class E felony; and driving while intoxicated and operating a motor vehicle with a blood-alcohol content over 0.08%, both unclassified misdemeanors. Hillje was issued an appearance ticket.
- An unidentified 18-year-old, of Athens, was arrested Aug. 9 at 2:54 a.m. in Catskill and charged with fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance/cocaine, a class D felony. The individual was issued an appearance ticket.
- Ethan Fitzgerald, 21, of Munnsville, was arrested Aug. 9 at 12:16 p.m. in Hunter and charged with third-degree coercion/instilling fear a secret will be exposed, a class B attempted misdemeanor. Fitzgerald was released on his own recognizance.
- Yafet Teshome, 30, of Springfield, Virginia, was arrested Aug. 9 at 11:48 a.m. in Hunter and charged with driving while intoxicated and operating a vehicle with a blood-alcohol content over 0.08%, both unclassified misdemeanors. Teshome was released to a third party.
- Jessica Cross, 28, of Ravena, was arrested Aug. 11 at 2:20 a.m. in Catskill and charged with fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a class D felony; aggravated driving while intoxicated with a child passenger less than 16, a class E felony; fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon, seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and acting in a manner injurious to a child less than 17, all class A misdemeanors; and driving while ability impaired/combined influence of drugs or alcohol and drugs, an unclassified misdemeanor. Cross’ arrest status was not reported.
