STATE POLICE

  • Nicholas Frantjeskos, 91, of Cairo, was arrested Sept. 8 at 5:48 p.m. in Cairo and charged with second-degree criminal contempt, a class A misdemeanor. Frantjeskos was released on his own recognizance.
  • Craig Turczyn, 37, of Catskill, was arrested Sept. 9 at 1:10 a.m. in Cairo and charged with fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a class D felony; use of a leased/rented/loaned vehicle not equipped with interlock, a class A misdemeanor; and driving while intoxicated and third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, both unclassified misdemeanors. Turczyn was held with no bail.
  • Kevin Patenaude, 32, of Mechanicville, was arrested Sept. 9 at 1:44 a.m. in Durham and charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and manufacture of drug-related paraphernalia, both class A misdemeanors. Patenaude was issued an appearance ticket.
  • William Raymond, 36, of Cairo, was arrested Sept. 9 at 9:18 p.m. in Cairo and charged with operating a motor vehicle with a blood-alcohol content over 0.08% and driving while intoxicated, both unclassified misdemeanors. Raymond was issued an appearance ticket.
  • Michael LaRosa, 23, of Leeds, was arrested Sept. 11 at 8:12 p.m. in Catskill and charged with first-degree criminal contempt/violating an order of protection, a class E felony, and criminal mischief with intent to damage property, a class A misdemeanor. LaRosa was issued cash bail in the amount of $2,500.
  • Lancewell Yarde, 35, of Hudson, was arrested Sept. 11 at 9:33 a.m. in Catskill and charged with operating a motor vehicle impaired by drugs, an unclassified misdemeanor. Yarde was issued an appearance ticket.
  • Xavier Garcia, 35, of Coxsackie, was arrested Sept. 12 at 4:30 p.m. in Cairo and charged with first-degree knowingly making/possessing dangerous contraband in prison, a class D felony. Garcia was held with no bail.
  • Jerome Saunders, 24, of Coxsackie, was arrested Sept. 12 at 4:05 p.m. in Cairo and charged with first-degree knowingly making/possessing dangerous contraband in a prison, a class D felony. Saunders was released to a third party.
  • Jessica Pooters, 35, of Rochester, was arrested Sept. 12 at 4:53 p.m. in Cairo and charged with second-degree bail jumping, a class E felony. Pooters was issued cash bail in the amount of $2,500.
  • Richard Barrett, 26, of Greenville, was arrested Sept. 12 at 10:05 p.m. in Athens and charged with second-degree aggravated harassment/communicating a threat by phone/computer/mail, a class A misdemeanor. Barrett was released on his own recognizance.
  • Raymond Alan Brownell, 57, of Latham, was arrested Sept. 13 at 12:13 p.m.in Cairo and charged with third-degree grand larceny, a class D felony. Brownell’s arrest status was not reported.
  • Larry Steven Andrew, 64, of West Coxsackie, was arrested Sept. 13 at 9:10 p.m. in Coxsackie and charged with driving while intoxicated and aggravated driving while intoxicated with a blood-alcohol content over 0.18%, both unclassified misdemeanors. Andrew was released to a third party.
  • Drew Caswell, 25, of Cairo, was arrested Sept. 14 at 5:24 p.m. in Cairo and charged with possessing an obscene sexual performance by a child under 16 years old, a class E felony. Caswell’s arrest status was not reported.
  • Matthew Smith, 29, of Coxsackie, was arrested Sept. 14 at 3:32 p.m. in Coxsackie and charged with criminal obstruction of breathing or blood circulation, a class A misdemeanor, and third-degree menacing, a class B misdemeanor. Smith was released on his own recognizance.
