David A. Jennings, of Greenville, passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 27, 2024, at the age of 72.
David was born on Dec. 5, 1951, and was a son of the late Russell and Anne (Lampman) Jennings. He served in the U.S. Coast Guard stationed out of Governor’s Island in New York City and served on the Morgenthau.
He married the love of his life, Evelyn, in 1972 at St. John’s Catholic Church in Greenville, NY. David worked as a mechanic, tow truck driver, railroad worker, and was an owner-operator of a semi-truck hauling freight and cars up and down the Eastern Seaboard.
His greatest collaborations were his children, Elizabeth, Aaron and Michael.
He’s survived by his wife Evelyn (Wilson), children Elizabeth, Aaron and Michael (Lee Anne) Jennings; his granddaughter Madelyn; and his brother Robert (Jane).
A military service and interment is planned in the late spring or summer.
