COXSACKIE — Join history enthusiast Lex Grey and special guests for a summer vacation through the ages on Sunday, July 28, at 2 p.m.

The Catskill resort experience has been documented through the ages via photographs, oral history and art, and will be explored during a history program at the Bronck Museum in Coxsackie.

The ascent through the foothills of the Catskill Mountains to the summit has been a journey through spirituality, nature, commerce, politics and nostalgia. In this hour participants will explore the lure of the area through time and the ever-changing experience of what it means to “go upstate.”

Resorts of the past and their locations will be highlighted.

The program will begin at 2 p.m. on the museum’s east lawn, weather permitting, or in the museum’s Meadow Ridge Heritage Barn, if necessary.

Adult admission for this event is $10, children and members of the Greene County Historical Society $5. The Bronck Museum is located at 90 County Route 42 in Coxsackie.
