GREENVILLE — When Thanksgiving is done Friday and we’re all eating leftovers, it will be time to take part in another local holiday favorite — the annual Tree Lighting Festival.

Hosted each year on the day after Thanksgiving by the Greenville Rotary Club, the community will gather at Veteran’s Park to enjoy hot chocolate and cookies, and a visit and photo with Santa and Mrs. Claus.

The Tree Lighting Festival will be held Nov. 25 starting at 5 p.m. at Veteran’s Park, at the intersection of Routes 32 and 81 in Greenville.

Refreshments and activities are free of charge, so dress up the kids warm and come on out for a local family tradition.
